Belle

Belle is a two year, two month old with a gentle heart and a cautious spirit. Rescued from Dominica, she is still learning that the world can be safe, kind, and full of comfort. She may hide at first and needs time to warm up, but behind her shy and nervous nature is a very sweet, playful, and intelligent girl.

Belle is curious about everything around her, even while staying on guard. She would do best with a patient person who will let her move at her own pace and give her the space to build trust. A home with a secure lanai or safe access to fresh air and nature would be ideal for this thoughtful explorer. Once Belle feels safe, her loving personality begins to shine, and she is truly worth the wait.
